Installation Guide
  1. 1
    Tap "Get the App" above

This opens the Firebase App Distribution page on your Android phone or tablet. Make sure you're on your Android device when you tap it.

  2. 2
Sign in with your Google account

Firebase uses your Google account to verify you're an authorized tester. Use the same email address you used to request beta access.

  3. 3
    Install the Firebase App Tester

The first time only, you'll be asked to install the Firebase App Tester app. This is a free official Google app — it takes about 30 seconds. You only do this once.

  4. 4
    Install PatchMap

Once inside Firebase App Tester you'll see PatchMap listed. Tap Download then Install. The app installs just like any Play Store app.

  5. 5
Launch and enter your invite code

Open PatchMap, tap Create Account, and enter the invite code that was included in your beta invitation email. Then create your username and you're on the road.

Android only. PatchMap is currently available for Android devices only. iOS support is planned for a future release. If you're on iPhone, sit tight — we'll let you know when it's ready.
